Introduction

This customizable mobile softphone app can be downloaded for free by your end users from both the Apple App Store and Google Play. Global Mobile Mobyx Softphone enables you to easily add a mobile option to any VoIP service that you offer using your BSS/OSS hosted softswitch and billing solutions͘
The Global Mobile Mobyx Softphone Brandable option lets you customize our generically branded Mobyx app. This document will guide you through the process. Once you provide the needed input, Phone System Global will customize your Mobyx app to include your desired branding, logo, and other details you specify.
The last two pages of this document can be used to send an email to Phone System Global with the input we need to configure your app. Your branded Mobyx app will be ready within two weeks.
How does it work?
When you users download the free Mobyx app from the App Stores, they can easily configure it via credentials or a QR code that you can generate automatically with on your Reseller Account on the BSS/OSS platform. Once the user configures the app, it will automatically be ready to use with your service, and several of the screens on the app will be customized according to your needs.
Your Mobyx app will include a tab labeled “More” that takes your user to a customizable menu. (The Android version will show the “More” tab at the top of the screen; the iOS version will show it at the bottom of the screen.)
Step 1: Your Brand and Optional Balance Indicator
You have the option to include a prepaid balance indicator at the top of each screen, plus some text. You can choose whether to have the Mobyx name, or replace it with any text you’d like such as your brand name. You can also opt to remove the balance indicator and use only text. Whatever option you prefer will be used throughout the app in this field where possible.

Character Limits (including spaces): 25-30 characters total for text and balance indicator combined
Step 2: Customizable Menu
When your user selects the “More” tab, your Mobyx app will display a menu screen which you can easily customize. Please provide the desired menu text in the desired language, and we will add it to your menu
Any item can easily be modified or removed from the menu if you wish.
Menu Text Limit: 20 characters per line including spaces
Step 2b: Menu Item – Contact Us
This option enables your users to contact you via a convenient email form within the app.
The text for this screen can be easily modified based on your input, or it can be deleted per your instructions.
Step 2c: Menu Item – About Us
When opened, this screen can display your logo, promotional text, clickable website URL, and other details. Character limits will vary based on the size and shape of your logo, but in most cases between 150 and 250 characters including spaces should work.

Step 2d: Menu Item – Rate Calculator
This option enables you to offer an easy way for users to look up rates to specific countries, as per your tariffs. Users can easily select the destination by name via a convenient drop-down menu, or by entering the prefix.
With the Rate Calculator, you are in complete control of your pricing
Step 2e: Menu Item – Invite Friends to Mobyx
This provides you the option of having your users invite their friends and family to also sign up for your service. This may be especially attractive if you offer free or discounted on-net peer-to-peer calling between your users.
When your user selects this option, it opens up their phone’s native email client to send a pre-defined invitation with a link to your webpage to sign up for your service. The default text and subject line of the email can be modified upon request, and your users also have the option to edit the email prior to sending. You can replace “Mobyx” with your own brand in the email subject and text
While there is no character limit for the default text you use, brief emails and short URLs may be more attractive to your end users
